I've been a way a while but think its time to get going again.
This is really a question for the UK but probably counts towards any country, is it worth voting for a particular party?
They all come out with their promises for the next 5 years and then none of them fulfil the promises made. With ...

Libya and other oppressed nations
It has been a while, but here goes.
What do people make of the attacks on Libya? Fair enough they are trying to prevent civilians getting hurt and giving them a chance to protest, although a little bit late in that respect. Gaddafi has been heavy handed with 'his' people, but has been for over 40 ...

RE: Should homosexuals have equal rights?
The immigrant card is totally different. Yes they had a hard time but it was the choice of the parents to come and live here and either had kids or brought them along. It was their choice to do the best they could for their families, coming to Britain and having a hard time in that respect or maybe ...

MP expenses
This issue really makes my blood boil. Never mind within the rules and paying money back. It is too little too late. It shows how corrupt the politicians are and any that have shown to have made false claims should be thrown out IMMEDIATELY!! They have acted immorally, taken us all for a ride and ...

RE: Should homosexuals have equal rights?
You can teach kids all about the facts of life and the differences between the 'norm' and 'others'. The fact of life is kids will listen but then take the absolute pisistence out of the poor kid put in that situation. You cannot, however hard you try, ever pass something off as natural, something ...

RE: Should the lazy be made to work?
Yes.
I know of some people in their 40's that have NEVER had a job, never paid a penny in tax or NI yet are still sponging when there is absolutely nothing wrong with them. They get free rent, free council tax and £300+ a week to blow on drink and drugs or whatever.
I was made redundant 6 years ...

RE: Should homosexuals have equal rights?
The answer to that is a definite NO. Let them do what they like but don't rub anyones face in it.
It depends what you mean by equal rights but in my head I am thinking along the lines of adoption and the like. What sort of fooked up people would allow a child to go through school as an instant ...

Future Energy Sources
[/u]There has to be a decision on future energy sources made soon before it is too late, but no matter what is suggested the bloody green brigade campaigns against it!! So what the hell can be done?

US bailout
What do you think of the failed US bailout? Should it have gone through or not? One side listened to the voters and the other listened to the Bankers.
I can understand both arguments, and I am no expert in any area here, but surely if things continue without the bailout then the markets will crash ...

What is goging on?!?
How have banks and bankers gone to the wall so quickly? For years upon years they have been making billions, yet in a few months they are going bust!! What happened to all of the profits? I am guessing that they have been drained off by the bosses and shareholders that have been reaping the rewards ...
