RE: Just read this.
Overinterpretation embodies itself in a variety of ways, the smallest being organized religion, and the most radical being the jihadist who cite the Qur'An as a valid excuse to carry out their plight against the infidels.

Model
Our nations political parties are bound and revolve around two concepts from the glorious Lakoff.The concept of the strict father, and the nurturing mother. Each is a different model of the family and the way the children are raised etc, moral order etc etc. (children being the citizens) And taking ...

RE: Abortion
I don't believe that the life (or potential life) of an embryo/fetus, an innocent entity, is something we should govern. People will argue that an embryo/fetus is part of the mother, which in my eyes is incorrect because the embryo/fetus is made up of genes contributed by the father as well. Some ...

Christian =/= Catholic
Christian = Catholic and at same time Catholic =/= Christian and vice versa

RE: Age for "education"?
Personally I think it's fine the way it is. Early on me and a group of people in my class were put in a math class 2 years ahead of our grade, I was doing Algebra in in 7th grade, and by the time I was a sophomore I had already done Trig/ Pre Calc. But realistically I think it all went too fast, I ...

RE: Why Bin Laden?!! WHY!
No, Bin Laden is not 100% to blame. Bush is just as much to blame as anyone, if not more. He was told NOT to go to Iraq, but he decided to anyway despite the facts. Bush had a hidden agenda to take out Saddam that originates from when Saddam had put a death threat on Bush Sr. So in a sense, Bush ...
