Another killing....

Post by appleton »

A 17-year-old has been stabbed to death in east London.

Police were called by ambulance staff to Chesterford Road, Newham, at 2339 BST on Thursday.

The boy, who is yet to be identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination will take place on Saturday.

Two youths, both 16, have been arrested in connection with the incident and are being held at an east London police station.

Officers have appealed for information about the incident, which is not thought to be gang-related.

Seven teenagers have been fatally stabbed in London since the beginning of this year.

More killings again. I was up near Ilford earlier.

It's not thought to be gang related? I find that hard to believe. Two teenagers just stab another for what?

This world is screwed :(

I hope that the news gets close to 100% coverage of all the killings that go on, or the UK is a very dangerous place to live. :undecided: May God be with the families - they've never needed Him more than now!

Not gang-related? Well I wouldn't be so sure as to jump to that conclusion. Not that I can truely think of any reason to kill someone, but if it wasn't gang-related, then what was it for?

I read in the news today that of the 350 or so people who have gone to court over gun crime charges, only about 150 actually got the full five year prison sentence. The other 200 or so managed to get off with might lighter sentences by using excuses like "my gun licence has just expired" and "I didn't mean to". Lol! What's the world coming to.

He could have looked at someone the wrong way.. I know this is stupid but it's possible. I have seen occasions where people have watched another person misbehaving or being stupid and the person wanted to beat them up for looking at them.

Our justice system is way too soft. A fraudster will get his ten years for a far less serious crime then carrying a gun (in my opinion).

That's how ridiculous it has become :(

The UK is criminalising what essentially isn't criminal and decriminalising what is down right immoral. Murderers and violent offenders are getting softer sentences while anyone caught holding a weapon (nothing actually wrong in itself) can get years in prison.
