Ice Age

Post by End of Days »

Wow. Climate change. So funny that the impending ice age—ie global cooling—was all the rage thirty years ago. Shouldn't that balance out the current concern over global warming? Globarl warming + global cooling = Global balancedness! Right?

Now, I'm not a scientist and I'm full willing to accept Al Gore's musings until something better comes along (and, when it comes to science, it often does, so I keep an open mind) but I do agree fully that it's absolutely foolish to use up al our fossil fuels and not make some signficant switches to renewable sources of energy just as quickly as we can. Even if global warming turns out to fade within a matter of months, we still need to wane ourselves off oil completely, or as much as we can, and stop letting our financial interest in the Middle East drive us to war.

anyhow.. I must say that the intensity of heat against the coolness is much high. :)

and yeah..in matter of fossil fuels..the last opportunity which the whole world can have is to depend on Middle east countries..they have a lot of resources.

I don't think ME is having all of world's resources. Before the breakup of USSR, it produced two times as much Petroleum as Saudi Arabia produced. Even now Russia produces more Crude oil (9.8 mbl) than KSA(9.5 mbl).
Enough of (ZA)Nu Labor. BNP is the only real alternative.

Al Gore's movie was crap gathered from pieces of garbage from every single dump around the world. His movie is also banned from 70% of all public schools in Canada and the U.S., simply because his movie has almost 0 facts that prove nothing.

And there's global cooling? What?! Then why are we all worrying about global warming anyways.. geeze

Yeah, I must admit that everyone these days are so focused on global warming.. it's actually not their fault though, global warming is the major concern as another ice age would take at least 20k-30k years for it to reoccur.

Al Gore's movie was useless though, but you can say it's good since it would be a good wake up call to people that know nothing of global warming.
